The story
Who Lawton Landscapes helps
Most customers are homeowners across Colchester, wider Essex and south Suffolk who have a garden that no longer works: a cracked or sinking patio, a fence that has given up, a slope nobody uses, or a plot left rubble-strewn by a previous owner. The job is to take that space and hand it back finished, level, draining properly and ready to use.
The specialism is hard landscaping and full garden transformation: patios, driveways, fencing, decking, sleeper beds and steps, garden walls, turfing, artificial grass, planting and clearance. Landscape design is also available as a standalone service, including scaled drawings and garden plans, so you can see the finished layout before a spade goes in the ground.
Over ten years' experience sits behind that, covering everything from a single patio to a complete renovation. Service area is Colchester and the surrounding towns, Chelmsford, Braintree, Maldon, Witham, Clacton-on-Sea, Harwich, Tiptree, Sudbury and Halstead among them.

Every installation starts underground. Bases are dug out to the depth the job needs, compacted properly and drained, because a beautiful surface laid on a poor base fails within a couple of seasons.
